It's Not Just The Gear, It's What Ya Do With It

With national artists like Sam Rivers, Nathen Page, Larry Coryell and Kenny Drew, Jr. performing and/or recording in our studios, we're developing a reputation for recording acoustic music. From our live-to-air concerts to individual artist recording sessions, we're capturing real music with state of the art recording equipment. And the vibe - well the vibe is cool jazz...

But we're not skimping on the gear here either - from 24 bit digital recorders to automated digital consoles, we use the latest equipment with vintage microphones, preamps and outboard equipment to capture your music and performances with clarity, definition and punch. Oh yeah, we've got a Steinway 6' grand piano too - no MIDI modules required!

The new digital facilities at WUCF

Our engineers have been recording real music for over twenty years and know how to capture acoustic instruments the way they're supposed to sound. We never understood (nor had the time) how it was possible to spend four hours to get sounds either - in most cases your session will be rolling tape (or hard drives) within an hour of your arrival.

Now our professionally designed facilities are available for you to use to record your next CD, commercial or audio book at a price that won't break the piggy bank. Call our studios today to inquire about studio time, or to arrange a tour of our facilities.
